I have worked as a financial planner for over a decade in accounting, stockbroking and planning environments, and have used a number of different software applications designed for planners, however Instead is the first application that has comprehensively met my requirements as a planner, and has done so in a user friendly manner.

The Query Portal allows me to resolve queries in an efficient and transparent manner, it maintains a full audit trial of the communication between the planner/accountant and the client, and does it on line. The Query Portal is fully paperless. Our administrative processes have completely changed as a result of using Instead, we spend much less time chasing queries, and much less time doing administrative work as Hence we have much more time for our clients.

One of the most valuable features of Instead is the central location of all client information. It allows us to view and update client details, insurances, entities, and financial data in one place. The document management system is exceptional, it allows us to store all client related documents electronically and with the client’s permission provide them and other parties with access to view these documents. Our clients find this service very valuable.
